The developer and architect, Chad Oppenheim, has created a stunning array of interconnected, individual residences featuring 18ft. floor to ceiling windows that create a powerful first impression and maximise the natural light that floods into the beautiful, two storey dwellings. The flower enhanced stretch of water that flanks the main passageway into the building could not be a more appropriate introduction to its starry South of Fifth location. It is pure South Beach.
The entwined, iron fence and gate are the work of celebrated sculptor Carolina Sardi; designed to catch the eye and the interest of passers by and recognised in South of Fifth as an iconic landmark.
The split level, open plan residences are given even greater impact by the large private terraces extending out from the main structure and looking out onto private, landscaped gardens. The huge, open air space, enclosed by aluminium screens and bamboo, gives the appearance of an additional outdoor room, which, thanks to the Florida sun, can often be used for al fresco dining.
The kitchens are designed to be a focal point; functional but beautiful enough to play a central part in the social side of living. State of the art, high end bathrooms are stunning in their simplicity, featuring contemporary vanity units with stainless steel sinks and mirrors that fill the wall.

Pets are welcome and there is assigned, secure parking underneath the building. There is an elevator installed and the gated building is accessed by an up to the minute, secure intercom system.

South Beach is one of the world’s hottest holiday destinations; a tropical paradise of palm trees, white sand beaches, warm, crystal waters and celebrity filled nightspots. Staying at Ilona Lofts would simply be the icing on the cake.
